Three Saturdays' Full of Family Fun!

March 27, 2015

Your family has the unique opportunity to be a part of three lively programs to be offered free at the library on upcoming Saturdays. Gather with us to enjoy the following artists, presented by Young Audiences of Western New York, through generous funding by the Ny Council for the Humanities.

On Saturday, April 25 from 11:00 AM to noon: ERIE CANAL SAL will share her life on the canal and will bring you right along with her! Storyteller author and artists Gretchen Murray Sepik tells tales from Erie Canal days and will also sign copies of her book.

Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 AM to noon: CELES TISDALE, who grew up on Buffalo's East Side, will present "From Africa to America," a poetic performance and historical overview of the African American experience. Tales from long-ago Africa as well as modern poetry will take you there.

Saturday, May 9 from 11:00 AM to noon: Karen Andy of DEFIANT MONKEY IMPROV bring their outrageous fun back to our library! If you have an idea, they can make it soar to life!

Bring the whole family, and there's no need to register. Any questions? Please call us at (585)765-9041.
