Flag orders taken at Library and from any Lions Club member, now through Monday, May 20, 2019

Lyndonville proudly honors its family members who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Since 2016, the Library has sponsored the striking visual display of 50 American flags fluttering in formation across the water from Veterans Park. This year, the Lyndonville Lions are helping us publicize this endeavor and take flag orders.

A new 3’ by 5’ nylon flag with sewn stripes and embroidered stars, including pole and bracket, may be purchased by the public for $50 each. A laminated tag indicating your name and that of the person you are honoring will be attached to the flag, which will be flown from Friday, May 24, through Memorial Day, May 27th, in the Field of Flags downtown. The flag is yours to keep, OR you may instead choose to “rent” a flag, with tag and your inscription attached, for $30.

Many thanks to our Lions Club members for their assistance, and to Michael Basil for his generous donation of flags.
